SimplyBike
SimplyBike is designed to be a simple, low-pressure riding companion. SimplyBike is provided by SPRK42 LTD, operating on Google Play under the developer name SPRK42.
SimplyBike may collect and process the following information:
• Your email address and Firebase user identifier for account access and account management
• Account preferences and profile information
• Ride information, including ride duration, resistance intervals, ride history and optional distance information
• Optional ride feedback or reflections you choose to provide
• Equipment profiles and resistance settings
• Google Play subscription and purchase-verification information needed to confirm and maintain subscription access
• App usage information, such as interactions with SimplyBike features
• Technical information including crash reports, diagnostics and device or application identifiers used for analytics and reliability
We use information collected by SimplyBike to:
• Create and maintain your SimplyBike account
• Save and synchronise your rides, preferences and equipment profiles
• Display your ride history and progress within the app
• Verify Google Play purchases and maintain SimplyBike Plus subscription access
• Prevent purchase misuse, transfer or fraudulent re-claiming
• Understand how SimplyBike features are used
• Diagnose crashes and technical problems
• Improve app reliability, stability and performance
• We do not sell your personal data
• We do not use your personal data for advertising
• We do not use your riding data for advertising
• We do not track you across unrelated apps or services for advertising purposes
• We do not use your data to create competitive rankings or performance profiles
SimplyBike uses services provided by Google and Firebase to operate the app.
These currently include:
• Firebase Authentication
• Cloud Firestore
• Firebase Cloud Functions
• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Google Play Billing and Google Play subscription services
These services may process information on our behalf for purposes including authentication, cloud storage, subscription verification, app analytics, crash reporting and technical diagnostics.
SimplyBike account and ride information is stored using Firebase and Google Cloud services.
Access to user information is restricted using Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules and trusted server-side services. Subscription and purchase-verification decisions are handled by secure backend services rather than being trusted directly from the app.
Information transmitted between the SimplyBike app and supported cloud services is transferred using encrypted network connections.
Your SimplyBike account information, saved rides, equipment profiles, preferences, feedback and subscription record are retained while your account remains active unless you remove them earlier through features available within the app.
Analytics, crash and diagnostic information may be retained by Google or Firebase according to the configuration and retention practices of those services.
You can permanently delete your SimplyBike account and associated personal account data from within the app at any time.
In the SimplyBike app:
From the Home screen, tap the Settings (gear) icon.
Scroll to the Account Security section and select
Delete Account. Follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
When account deletion completes, SimplyBike deletes:
• Your Firebase Authentication account
• Your SimplyBike user profile and account preferences
• Saved ride history and ride data
• Equipment profiles and resistance settings
• Feedback associated with your account
• Your SimplyBike subscription record
Following account deletion, SimplyBike retains a minimal Google Play purchase-ownership safety record for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
This record exists to prevent a Google Play purchase that has already been associated with a SimplyBike account from being transferred, re-used or fraudulently re-claimed by another SimplyBike account.
The retained purchase-security record does not contain:
• Your SimplyBike user ID
• Your email address
• Your saved rides
• Your equipment information
• Your SimplyBike subscription record
• Your raw Google Play purchase token
The retained record contains only:
• The purchase provider
• A deleted-owner status
• Relevant creation, deletion and update timestamps
The minimal purchase-ownership safety record is retained indefinitely for purchase-security and fraud-prevention purposes.
It is retained only to prevent a previously claimed Google Play purchase from being transferred, re-used or fraudulently re-claimed.
It is not used for advertising, profiling, ride analysis or activity tracking.
If you cannot access the in-app account deletion option, you can request deletion by emailing support@sprk42.com from the email address associated with your SimplyBike account.
Please state that you would like your SimplyBike account and associated data deleted.
You may stop using SimplyBike at any time. You may delete individual ride information where the app provides that option, or delete your entire SimplyBike account using the process described above.
